On Thursday, August 27, 2026, the Steve Englehart era at the University of West Georgia will open as the Wolves host the UT-Chattanooga Mocs at 7:00 PM at University Stadium in Carrollton, Georgia. This non-conference matchup marks the second season opener at home for the Wolves in the three years of Division I play.

6:45 PM - Pregame begins with The Marching Wolves of West Georgia

Fans are encouraged to arrive early to for Tailgating at University Stadium and to partake in the festivities and show their support for the team and the honored groups.

To enhance public safety while expediting entry, the University of West Georgia (UWG) has implemented a Clear Bag Requirement. This requirement may regulate the size and type of bags allowed at UWG events and venues.
